The anti-gravity racer is back on handheld with this high-speed PSP gem. Studio Liverpool has been fine-tuning the series' long-standing appeal with new touches like the mag-strip, powerful magnetic sections of track allowing kerazzy upside-down antics.

It'll almost certainly be a good game and looks pretty slick for a PSP title (at least, as far as I can tell from a short teaser like this), but despite owning a couple of the PS1 Wipeouts I'm just not very good at this sort of quick-reaction game anymore.

As much as I like to see a series like this live on, I still think the PSP needs more original first-party games.

Same old stuff... it took ages but even Capcom stopped doing Street Fighter, at a certain point.
