Sony Liverpool hopes the series that defined PlayStation in the nineties can do the same in the noughties for PlayStation Network. Either way, we can think of few better ways to spend 12 quid when the game hits on 25th September.

I know you guys will hate me for this but, looking at the video it doesn't appear to be moving as fast as the PS2 version or even my PSP version. Am I just looking at it wrongly or something?

The reviews seem to be praising it no end.

Difficult to tell until you see it 60fps. The video will be 25fps or so!

This is running at Venom speed, by the look of it. If you've played the PSP versions, you'll know this is a world away from the speeds in Phantom class.

Because the guy playing is racing at a low speed class. Don't worry - Wipeout HD will be just as fast (or faster) as the previous games :)

cant wait for the eye bleedin madness to start, i played this to death on ps2. Never could play it properly unless i was using in vechicle view, just felt faster.

It's exactly the same as the old games except in HD why is everyone so excited about it?
