I dont really understand.

They are not jumping at the same time, so either each one has been played individually, of the player can manually switch on/off control of each game on the fly...

At first I thought they weren't synced correctly as especially Mario 1 and 2 were jumping at slightly off times, but then later on they started going in-sync, meaning that it's not exactly the same controller. Boo.

I think if you hold the jump button in mid-air you won't jump as you land, so you can easily de-sync the games.

In some places one or more of the marios are standing still while another one is running, so I cant see how this is in sync?
