Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning - Ever forward

After the recent announcement of a further delay to Autumn this year, the dev team at Mythic are keen to illustrate that progress is still being made. What better way than to release this gameplay vid of footage from the current closed beta?

    Sorry, but is this supposed to impress me?

    Looks like generic MMORPG #42384. The game better have completely amazing PvP or I don't see how this could be a success if released after the next WoW expansion and AoC.

    I liked the bit with the Night Elves, Gnomes, Dwarves and Orcs.

    I think the draw is supposed to be the big pvp metagame, still one does wish they had gone sljightly less warcrafty

    so thats why the have never shown any gameplay :p the animations are a bit weird but when has a mmo ever been about graphics, i would much rather have a massive pvp battle with no slowdown.

    Utterly disappointing as the graphics, animation, and gameplay (from what little was shown - mostly combat) looks lacking. I like PvP but from what I see it does absolutely nothing for me. I foresee great doom for them.

    I do find it funny how people say its "Warcrafty" when 99% of the content in WAR is based of the Games Workshop IP exactly - stuff which existed before Blizzard was even formed as a company.

    I'm a big warhammer fan and was hoping for this to be top drawer. As it stands, Age of Conan is pissing on it from a great height. Then shitting on it. Then humping its mum. And its Dad.

    Gfx do look piss poor. There's something bad about the textures. Warcraft is nearly 4 years old and looks better.

    I've ordered the Collector's edition purely for the limited edition mini you get with it. £60 well spent!

    If you all remember , looking at World of Warcrafts gameplay footage was not exatly riviting, and Blizzard have achieved enormous success.

    I'll reserve judgement until i've actually played the game.
