Oh dear, oh dear. The problem with commiting yourself to do a spot like this is that you must be an entertainer, not merely be capable of rabbiting on with some enthusiasm. The result is that this is just plain embarrassing. Hat off to Paul for doing this, but dear god, somebody in the marketing department should have run (in slow motion, shouting, "NOOOOOOOOOOOO") towards the kill switch. Perhaps if they had got Barry Scott (of Cillit Bang fame) it would have been more embarrassing, but not much....

I, er, really appreciated the German subtitles...? Would it have been hard to master two versions, one with subtitles, one without?

Bit on Paul Barnett... I used to work with him (sort of). He's a very nice guy. Crazy enthusiastic about what he does. And yes, just a bit of an egomaniac... but you can't really hold it against him. He loves his job. I'm glad to see him doing well.

Those shades, though. Jesus, Paul.
