    These things are painful to watch. Please just show the game, as it would look when I was playing it. No children's telly-style false exuberance, no endless clips of explosions, just a chunk of gameplay, with hud and all, and possibly a developer voiceover (assuming you can get one to calm down).

    I like them. They're fairly amusing, informative, and feel pretty honest, in a strange rhetorical kind of way. I prefer them to some dumb advert that a third party PR company might think up.

    With Age of Conan coming out, Eye of the North, LOTRO, and all that, this has some difficult job. And although it's alpha footage, I've seen pre-alphas looking better.
