    I had a blast playing the demo - not so sure how it'll scale to a 8 hour game though, unless there are lots of extra mechanics that they didn't touch on.

    Also, why Ultramarines? They're so...clean-cut. Templars or Space Wolves would've been a bit more interesting, surely?

    I'm a massive 40k fan. I've wanted Space Marine since day one. I cannot wait to get it.

    That trailer almost turned me of the game entirely. Seriously, fire the marketers on that.

    I think they choose the Ultra's because, from a lore perspective, they're pretty easy to present. They're pretty normal (apart from being 8 foot tall, heavily armoured, genetically engineered killing machines) as compared to say the Wolves. The Templars are actually not very sympathetic. The best depiction i ever saw of the Templars was Aaron Dembski-Bowden's Helsreach, where they came across as total assholes. Great assholes, badass assholes, but really, not pleasant people. Thats a tough sell.

    The PC and Xbox 360 demos I tried were both very good, much to my surprise, and I enjoyed them so much that I pre-ordered the game for the PC, something I wasn't planning on doing before I played them.

    I notice a Genestealer in the artwork above. This makes me more interested. Does anyone know if they'll play a large roll in the game? I'm soooo feckin bored of Orks.

    Really enjoyed the demo on the 360. Great to have English voice acting (is that Mark Strong?) and as demos go it was really enjoyable. Its similar to Gears in style but has a great mythology to draw on. I love Relics work.

    @username84 - the Space Marine: Kill Team 'prequel' game had tyranids in it. Given they built that using the art assets from the full game, that kind of suggests they'll be in the 'main game' too.

    Terrible trailer.... great demo though, can't wait! Used to love playing Space Hulk, 'bout time we had a proper third person WH40K game.

    @ Username84, the creature in the artwork isn't a Genestealer, it's a Chaos Blood God, as Chaos feature heavily apparently.
    @ FlamingCarrot - Yep, that's Mark Strong's voice, Terrence Stamp voices a part too.......

    @anomagnus - You're probably right. It's the fact that the other chapters are so complex that I liked, but I guess they have more chance to explore that later in DLC/sequels. I guess a bit like GTA4 - they couldn't have done the biker gang as a first release because they are too niche, but it worked as an expansion.

    PC Demo should be on steam for everyone. PS3 Demo out today. Torn between getting it on the 360 or the PC, but as I've got my 'free' unlockable from Kill Team I guess it will be the 360. or the PC. oh I don't know!

    Thought it was a nice trailer, tried to evoke the Double Life commercial a bit.
    Would've preferred the Space Wolves greatly as well. I'm afraid this will snow in under all the heavy hitters this fall, but I'm sure to pick it up sometime.

    I saw the commerical before this trailer and cringed, I didn't realise that this was a trailer in its own right, I just thought it was a continuation of the shitfest that was the commercial. Hopefully it doesn't throw people off the game, becuase it is an absolute blast! And runs extremely well.

    the game can speak for itself, but i guess it's too ultraviolent for TV lol! THE DEMO WAS SO FUCKING AWESOME. I precame.. err preordered!

    Kill Team re-uses assets from Dawn of War 2, not Space Marine.
