Viking: Battle for Asgard - Trailer

9 (4 ratings)

SEGA's burly berserker-fest Viking has a shiny new website as of today, and they're so chuffed with it that they crafted this lovely trailer to celebrate. It's stirring stuff indeed, so steel yourselves for battle and ready your best grimaces: war is coming to Midgard.

It certainly looks pretty epic and quite impressive but i'll reserve judgment until after the scathing reviews :P

*scratches head* I'm not entirely sure but I'm sure I heard somewhere that the Norsemen and Vikings came before Tolkein.

I live in Copenhagen and you wouldn't believe the number of bloody dragons you have to deal with while cycling to work. Worse than pikeys and those fucking free-newspaper guys.

The explosions looked like crap, but otherwise it looked fantastic.

Fantastic trailer, although I suspect the final game won't be that great. It will need well-designed and varied levels and a really good storyline to stand out from all the other 'massive battle' games of the past few years.

Wow. That's awsome. I hope the combat mechanics will be good and engaging; I have not played the other games in the series.

Definately one to look out for... hoping for a good, meaty PSN demo when release date approches.

Oh, and while the recent tolkien films must have been an influence, this looks a LOT better than the so-so games based on those movies.
