The armour up scene is pure iron man. The assault rifle is pure halo but, what the heck does the game play like?

Owww, there are enough Western devs making games about America being under attack, do we really need Japanese devs making games about America being under attack too?

Why couldn't Tokyo be under attack?

I'm so bored of saving America.

Still, I'm intrigued, and look forward to some in-game footage.

The 'armour up' scene was actually done by Blizzard before it was done in the Iron Man movie. Go check out the launch trailer for Starcraft 2....

I reckon given the studio's pedigree (thinking RE4 specifically) and the fact that Japan doesn't get on with FPSs, we'll be getting a third person shooter.

The fact that he's got ARS written across the front of his armour did make me chuckle, but then again, I'm infantile like that.

ingame footage will be the clincher. but saying that i have loved everything Clover/Platinum have done. I hope it is FPS and not 3rd person. a fresh take on the FPS genre would be great for the industry

This is the sort of game that the Japanese generally don't do well at all, but as everyone has pointed out, Platinum's pedigree means it will probably be worth keeping an eye on, just to see what they do with this type of game.

An absolutely stunning cinematic. One of the best I have seen in recent months. Only ruined by getting rather choppy towards the end and quite possibly the most wank title/logo I have ever seen.

Only on the consoles? My heart bleeds.

shadow complex 3D. looks good.

@jonbwfc I think iron man thought of the suiting up business before starcraft. I'm sure the cartoon pre-dates starcraft and it's probably been in old iron cartoons/movies i don't even know about.
