I see that they still don't understand why UT'99 was so good and why the sequels are so shit.
This isn't UT. This is quake (they even raped the rocketlauncher and replaced it with a quake copy).

why does everyone look like wierd tiny monkeys? I thought he was fighting against dogs for a minute. Is there some sort of super-deformed modifier or sommat in effect on this game?

I don't get why people keep saying this is different to UT99, it's the same game, just with better graphics. And it's Nothing like Q3, especially the rocket launcher.

Yeah I thought the models looked really odd to!
Thought it was just me, they looked like vertically challenged monkeys with armour and guns...very odd looking.

Quake 3 cpma will never be beaten I dont think, not for fast paced FPS MP action thats for sure!

Well tbf, Q3 always has been a poor man's UT'99. UT'99 was/is online FPS perfection. To bad that to this date, no game has been able to rival it - especially the sequels.
Everything was just right for that game: the levels, the engine, the models, the weapons, the community.

Too bad that they fucked it all up.

Wow. Most boring gameplay vid ever. It's not the fault of the EG guys, though - but I had to check my comp clock to verify I hadn't been teleported back to the 90's in the age of the uninteresting, twitchy, repetitive, boring shooter gameplay (wait, where is my moustache? Shit, this IS the 90's. AAAaaahhh...)

This is shit. UT lost it the day they decided it's kinda like a sport and they dumped Assault mode.

Definitely NOT going anywhere near this.
