Drake , that poor sod from dead space and master chief are some of the few characters this generation that I actually feel something for.

With drake it's the superb voice acting that gives him that real "I want him to win just once" vibe. You really feel for his many mishaps and while playing actually try to somehow change his inevitable pennyless end fate. Ok so Uncharted 3 was a huge predictable disapointment for me but, this looks like aback to the ideals of 1 and 2 that I think the series really needs i.e action, exploration and no convoluted hard to follow plot.
