    Well instead of thinking up some new maps they have released 2, yes 2 map packs consisting of previous maps. Hmm I'm sure Gears of war did this but for free? And made new DLC. I love Uncharted but that is pretty lazy.

    I do dislike 'classic' maps on all games free or not. I want new maps for new games.

    Regarding you don't have to buy it, correct but DLC like this splits the community.

    e.g. BF3 2 of us have the map pack one doesn't. The guy who doesn't get kicked often when the maps rotate, to play with us he has to buy them. (just one way it splits the community)

    Lazy maybe be - a short cut to get money from fans certainly.

    I agree it would be lazy if they didnt tart them up like they have done, but some are completley overhauled. These maps are optional extras and the notion that Naughty Dog should give these away for free when many man hours would have gone into them is crazy.

    Isnt this flashback map pack 2 supposed to be coming out 22/02/12 ? Im confuzzled, but happy to play it sooner rather than later !

    As a fortune club thingy memebr i am a little disappointed that they have not released NEW maps, dont get me wrong the rehashed ones look cool but i was expecting more.

    I will stick with the new maps for new games approach. Dev are doing this because it takes less man hours than new maps.

    There is nothing out there to suggest new maps arent on the way, infact i would bet my life there is new ones in the pipe line. These old ones are a welcome addition to myself atleast, and i dont mind paying for them (fortune hunters club member), some people expect things for free, sometimes they are justified, sometimes they are not.

    Kindly fuck-off with your moralizing nonsense. They even had people pay 25€ or something IN ADVANCE, so those who trusted them with their money completely and totally got stabbed in the ass with Uncharted 2's golden dagger.
    And don't get smart answering that you didn't have to invest in this plan either. Fact is, ND made a commitment to bring new content and now they're giving people the shaft with useless skins and old maps in which you already invested a fortune for U2.

    How many man hours do OLD maps take up again?

    Granted, new maps *might* come along, but I wouldn't hold my breath. This is a 4 months old game already, publishing rubbish content first in the hope people buy it isn't really putting ND in a good light either.

    The tone of your comment is way OTT, calm down.
    Nobody has been 'stabbed in the ass' somethings worth is different to everybody, i feel its pretty good value and dont mind paying a bit extra for things i think are worth it or i might enjoy, if you want to explode into a rage because our opinions differ go straight ahead.

    I still get amazed how people can get into such a debate and feel the need to assert there opinion over everybody elses over video games

    I got stuck with the Gears Season ticket, more OLD maps, a shit 'new' game mode a good but short 1player.

    But the game does not play too well online, the best upload speed seems to give a huge advantage. All my friends have moved on to other games now as have I.

    They have been overhauled just as much as the flashback map pack they had in gears 2 I believe. Canals, gridlock completely changed and a few others. Which as I said before was free. These map packs are no different yet they are charging for them. And for Naughty Dog who are very talented developers I would of expected more.
