Hmm looks like they are sticking with their hybrid of turn based and real time fights. Shame really as the game play of the original turn based UFO was so good if they could just have kept the original game play but put it into a modern engine it would be great.

It's just a bit sad they are sticking to the comic-ish look - everything seems so... bloated. I still remember the original UFO games - Aftermath was great, but Aftershock could't quite convince me - too many bugs and the look wasn't really 'after'-anything, it was too polished.

I hope it's good, the last few have been pretty disappointing really. Meh, fingers crossed.

Gurrah - You can't be serious regarding the bugs! Maybe I have a different view of the game as I only got it a few months back and the patch installed before even playing, but certainly with the newest one I could find it runs far far better than even the patched version of Aftermath...

The turnbased/realtime aspect does annoy me though...Played far too much turnbased when I was younger I guess :o)
