    I'm still not sure if I should get this. It definitely is brilliant and so far I bought every single one of the TrackMania games but then again it is published by Ubisoft. The only question is: Do I skip it because it's published by Ubisoft or do I buy it to show them that without their DRM everything is just fine and I will support games without draconian DRM?

    Just don't the games with the DRM and they will feel it trough their bank account.

    Sorely tempted tbh, even tho they (more likely ubisoft) are gonna nickel and dime us with each new landscape set. The instant reset better still be there...

    @SneakyGun: I was hoping someone would say that - because I really, really want this game.

    @arcam: As DUFFKING said, it's not on Steam (sadly). I read on their forums that they want to be on Steam but the tight integration with Maniaplanet is something that is not possible at the moment and they decided to release it retail only. However, they also mentioned to be careful when buying the retail version because when the game finally appears on Steam gamers will have to buy the game twice (has to do with Steam). I think they indeed want to release it on Steam otherwise I don't know why they would give out this warning - it's basically like saying: If you want it on Steam, don't buy it now; Which makes no sense if they know it is not going to be on Steam at some point.

    Thanks, I got it from direct from Nadeo instead. DRM is reasonable, for some reason it put me through to the French language Paypal site but... pas de probleme.

    Just had a very quick go - it's exactly what I would have hoped for. For me, Trackmania is the best racing game ever made :)

    An authorisation key you have to register online after purchase, and that's it. Can play offline, burn to CD, install to as many computers as you like etc.

    Right bank account, I know I hate Ubisoft DRM... but after you finish DeusEx: HR this is going to be bought.
    Looks like old Trackmania only much much prettier and bigger, which is really what I was hoping for.

    Went to their website expecting to pay the usual $49.95-$59.95 Canadian (I'm in Canada) and it was just $24.99. Instant purchase at this price. :-)

    Looks amazing! And, please make a simple looking 60fps version of TrackMania Nations for the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live.

    It plays like an utter dream. The handling, feel and weight of these new Canyon cars is superb. Much fun!

    What an awesome trailer! I wish races were actually like that, with hundreds of little cars, all being driven by a real person :)
