Could you start showing the last 15 minutes of these games so I find out how they end and save myself some money?

Toy Story 3 is very good for a licensed game and I have say that I'm looking forward to playing it on the 360 later on this week. Sure it's basically a kid's game but it's at least made to a decent standard. I have briefly tried the PC version, which is a port of the inferior Wii version, and that was a lot of fun. The PS3/360 versions are apparently better with a more expansive Toy Box (sandbox) mode.

Defo will buy sub £25. Me and the daughter will enjoy it.

The game also has splitscreen co-op which makes it a great choice for a parent and kid to play together.

I remember how much I enjoyed Toy Story 2 back on the PSOne. Might keep an eye on this

+1 for bright colours! Looks brilliant.

I don't think these first 15 minutes work that well. They are usually not the most interesting portion of the game. They are usually cut senes / tutorial stuff..

Like this game, the Toy Box mode is way more fun, and you only showed a minute of it.

Was it really necessary to show the loading?

Frame rate seems to suck in places.
And why do developers of childrens games always insist on throwing up lots of text for kids to read?
  • Vyggo #11 2 years ago

So I rented this game for a week. My kids loved it, but I had to help them throughout because of the relative complexity. Some niggles:
    * Quite complicated controls - all buttons are just pretty much and not always intuitively so
    * Lots of camera angle problems having to adjust manually
    * Hard to understand voices / lots of reading

Kids find the story box mode very compelling though, they just need quite a lot of guidance at younger ages.

Is this Red Dead Redemption DLC?
  • Darren #13 2 years ago

@smelly - If nothing else it encourages them to read. ;)

I remember my eight year old nephew getting a N64 for Christmas and his reading improved substantially from playing Banjo-Kazooie and Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
