    There will always be lots of games where we shoot monsters in the face. You are not permitted to become jaded about them(and mark down games for that reason!) until we are.

    We certainly don't mark them down for that reason, but we do like getting them to take the piss out of them occasionally. Forgive us!

    lol @ the GH:WT comments. So, basically, Tom dislikes Harmonix but prefers Rock Band 2 to GH:WT.

    Tom's reasons for rating GH:WT above RB2 are stupid. So everything about RB2 is better but Harmonix are c*nts and the GH guitar is better? I thought you were rating the game and not the guitar, it's not like you have to use a RB guitar to play RB.

    As long as they were just names I imagined them to be cooler, better looking and , being as obviously shallow as I am, more interesting people.

    So Rock Band 2 is better in nearly every way than GH: WT and still gets 12th instead of 9th? The Mind Boggles. You Eurogamer people are a strange, strange lot.

    I actually completely agree with the entire top 50. Maybe Braid a little higher but still. Little Big Planet is a worthy winner, I have enjoyed many hours on this game, and the community is coming up with some absolute gems. Dead Space was pretty good, but more worthy of any of the other games in there? Probably not.

    Better looking? That's what makes someone interesting? Partly true if it's the opposite sex, but unless you're a girl or gay, why would you care what other blokes look like?

    Littlebigplanet all the way! A worthy winner.
    Brawl, Mario Kart and Professor Layton should be higher though.

    actually if you heart a level before moderation then you can continue to access it. loophole? maybe. either way, that ico level is brilliant. LBP all the way. definitely one of the games of the decade.

    But they are. Right there in the video.
    I come here to this gaming mag for witty and very well written analysis' of games, not some superficial drivel.
    If I want videos I go to Gametrailers, which features perfectly well made videos with people, who are actually comfortable with cameras and professional editing.
    I have little say anyway, but hope EG will focus on its writing once again. Because that's what I love 'em for.

    Are u people on drugs, most of the games on that top 20 were awful. The only games you got right were Fallout3, Little Big planet and GTA4, where the hell is Metal Gear that was one of the best games of all time not just 2008. I thought the eurogamer staff had some sence when it cam to game but this video proved me wrong.

    And saying that Tomb Raider was not that good it was a awesome game in fact it was better that the originals.
