Lets hope the full game runs in super slow mo like that.
    Looks nice.

It'd probably help. I'm lousy at these games. Fancy this more traditional TH game to that down-hill one though.

Is that Kasabian tune the most licensed song in vidoegames? It's on everything!

I LOVE these games, as they are at their core, games that reward skill.

Games that demand that you simply get better at them if you want to progress, especially when getting better at them insn't as easy as it first appears and takes some real thought and effort, are so far up my street that they are practically in the living room!

Nice trailer, I'm really looking forward to seeing more of this.

I've always liked the TH games. This looks very promising.

Big question is has the gameplay changed, and if so, for the better?

Whoever put that trailer together should be very proud of their work. Very professional, puts many other "here are some visuals with a bit of music over the top" games trailers to shame.

Whoever put this trailer together should be ashamed of themselves. They've just copied the first 20 seconds of 'Yeah Right'.

Still, I'm glad they've rebuilt the engine.

After numerous sequels and milking the cashcow, they've finally run out of proper names for their Tony Hawk's games then?

Thank god! Hopfully the physics will be more realistic now, maybe even better than the physics in Skate and Destroy (well they better be, cause Skate and Destroy is 7 years old now).

Oh, Yeah right is the Girl skateboards vid from like 2003 and this trailer was definatly "inspired" by the intro:

Thats absolutely fine with me. The fact that they decided to try and make it look like a skater DVD rather than just another game trailer is part of what impressed me. It looked like a quality trailer with a unique style amongst its peers. I don't much care if it plagiarised a film to get there or not TBH.

Just watched the video. I agree its blatant, but I still don't care :)

I was in a band maaaany years ago with a guy who could skate like that. Fucking awsome to see. I've never bought a TH game, but all this teen nostalgia is drawing it closer to my future shopping list.

this is a hugely impressive bit of cg, but I doubt they'll have that kind of animation fiedelity in the final game!

But I do want rag-dolling, and the individual physics of Tony's teeth as I slap him into another wall. :-)

Am I the only one that thought the character models looked a bit sub-standard? Or was the the xbox version? (If so, very impressed, but probably not)

revoltkid speaks the truth. Did look good tho apart from Tony Hawk's expressionless face when doing the trick in the half pipe, hehe.
