    I thought the aim was to get the lock on tone and then fire. 17 mins and didn't get to the refuelling part, nice ending though.

    3 years after Ace Combat 6 but it looks a lot worse graphically. And who told them that missiles sound like asthmatic tie fighters? Awful.

    The first bit was alright, standard fare but the inclusion of the outside view made it easier to turn and twist (first person was terribly slow). But then the fuel bit hit, lasted for 15 minutes without being even remotely interesting (rook me 10 minutes to fucking get there), and just made me not want to play it ever again. The guy who thought that up, well, he's not very good.

    Yeah whoever's playing this couldn't hit the floor with his hat after three attempts. I mean, 17 mins on the first mission? I think I completed both demo missions in 15 mins.

    Not sure what I think about this yet. Enjoyed the first one, but the demo for 2 left me a bit bemused. Controls aren't very precise and the refuelling/landing bits seem like a tacked on last-minute gimmick. I liked the bombing though.

    Ye you need to get the lock on target first, not just fire, otherwise the missiles just go straight.

    Wow... just wow :) I've never shouted at one of these vids before but i couldn't help it! What were you shooting at for 90% of that because it wasn't the enemy :p Big yellow arrow > red box + solid tone = win :)

    honestly, this is the first time I've watched one of these and wanted to either shake the player and slap some sense into them, or just snatch the controller from their hands.

    but i'll give them some credit, they gave those mountains a right pasting. :)

    Thanks for trying out the alternate view for 7 seconds. I wanted to see if they had done anything with it, because it was quite appealing in the first one... I don't know if it was just too alien to people or what, but it seemed like you could come at action flight sims with a different perspective like that and do something quite interesting.
