    We've heard all these idea's concerning RPG's before.

    This time i believe it!
  • juliankennedy23 #3 4 months ago

    Can not wait...
  • DUFFKING #4 4 months ago

    Heh, the choices effect the game enough that one playthrough will only give you about 1/2 of the total content.
  • asho #5 4 months ago

    Right I want this now! Right now!
  • Snake_2011 #6 4 months ago

    I guess if they will do a PS3 version they will not say until this has been out for a bit hope they do.
  • rottingyoda #7 4 months ago

    Do yourself a favour and buy this game. My favourite RPG of 2011.

    "The Xbox 360 has never seen a game that would match The Witcher 2 in terms of the non-linearity and complexity of its story.""

    Haha, god I love you CD Projekt. Shots fire at Mass Defect and Generic Age (Two rpgs I like and have bought into before you get all cry)

    Yep the choiches here actually really matter and they really nailed the moralising in choiches.
    You really feel involved when making choiches rather than jut going Eeny meeny moe about it.

    this game is EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Paul_cz #11 4 months ago

    Yeah what is nice about these over the top statements is that in case of Witcher 2 they are actually true.
  • Mindstorm #12 4 months ago

    I agree, they nailed choices better than anyone else before.
  • super_monty #13 4 months ago

    Must resist watching video…….I will be buying this!!!!!!

    CDP are such an awesome dev studio. All they're talking about in this video is something that is a fundamental concept of not only any RPG, but any GAME full stop - decision making.

    The fact that they know how to implement a meaningful decision making process, along with a coherent and well-structured system of consequences for these decisions just shows how well they grasp the things that matter.

    To all XBox owners - you NEED to play this game. One of the very best games of 2011 from a team who, in my opinion, will be right up there with the Blizzards and Valves of the world in 10 years time...

    So they are repeating the same content now once again for the 360 gamers. Feels like last year again :D
  • WillyWongler #16 4 months ago

    So eager to play this game. Along the way I had to pick up a few fillers like Skyrim and Saint's Row 3. Both turned out to be exceptional thankfully.
  • darkmorgado #17 4 months ago

    @Mindstorm

    Because it has a tonne of new content that wasn't there when the game originally came out.
  • hiddenranbir #18 4 months ago

    @Lunatic4ever Of course, it is premium quality content that 360 owners need to experience. I imagine they get the enhanced edition extra quest content too maybe.

    -------

    Definitive modern RPG. Can't wait for Witcher 3. Imagine that, an RPG franchise that doesn't trying to get away from its roots! :D

    @hiddenranbir

    I haven't played Witcher 2 on the PC, but I definitely intend to buy it for 360. Great game and great developer. But contrary to public opinion, I greatly enjoyed the Dragon Age series, even the second one (about Mass Effect games, I am really crazy about them. I mean fanatic). But if Witcher 2 has the potential to beat those series in terms of complex storylines, then the ones who win are us the gamers, and the developers who will take our money.
  • Olemak #20 4 months ago

    With this coming out and Happy Action Theater being exclusive I guess I'll have to do a 180 and get a 360.
  • Kendalf #21 4 months ago

    Very, very, very, very excited about this and I'm really intrigued by the amount of choice they claim is on offer and how large an influence it has on your destinations / quests / experience. I haven't replayed a game since Chrono Cross on PS1 (you could only recruit about two-thirds of the potential team members first time through) but, if what they're claiming is true, this could be the first one in over ten years!
  • Ostinato #22 4 months ago

    Please do a PS3 version! Please!
  • gregski #23 3 months ago

    @Kendalf

    What they are claiming is as true as it gets. I played this game twice already and I still didn't find some quests that others are talking about. So there's a lot to explore and this game rewards patience.

    The feeling I get from this trailer is that these guys are so totally passionate about their game and games in general. It's not some corporate guys talking about this wonderful game that they are going to bless gamers with, it's more like "OK, let's just make this damn movie and let us go back to making/playing games!"
  • UncleLou #24 3 months ago

    Wanted to watch the trailer but refuse to read a load of subtitles while the designers talk in foreign. If they cant be bothered to get english people for their advertisements then im not gonna bother watching.

    You'd rather have English people who have nothing to do with the game advertise it than listen to the developers? Bloody hell.

    Btw., they're speaking Polish, not "foreign".
  • Po1ymorph #25 3 months ago

    So happy they decided to port this. It just sounds so f**king awesome.

    I want it now!
  • Po1ymorph #26 3 months ago

    @James_Pond I don't know why, but I am still sometimes shocked at how idiotic some members of the human race are.
  • geeza2020 #27 3 months ago

    This really does look very, very good. Can't wait!
