I can't wait for this game. Some RPG developers actually like to take their time when making a massive, epic, fantasy RPG sequel.

Is this pc only or multiplat? I'd get it on pc if I could but my pc's so old I have to turn a crank to power it up.

Think it will be multiplatform, but will be released for PC first.

Was that an angry house? I think that was an angry house!

The only good/great upcoming RPG since about a decade (part 1 aside).
And thank god it actually looks good and like a game from today - not like crap like Dragon Age / 2.

Looking very promising and with very nice graphics. And the music theme that
plays is fantastic. I wonder if it supports DirectX11 because the graphics would
benefit a lot by the tessellation feature of DX11.

Anyway, having in mind brilliant memories from the first Witcher
with an outstanding atmosphere and nonlinear plot I am very
    anxiouse about the second installment.

Namco Bandai stand? Never thought I'd see...

I always felt Witcher was far more gripping than Dragon Age, particularly in the "mature" department but also in having a narrative with meaningful choices that didn't feel so obviously two pointed.

    Woo, Witcher 2! Woo! Yeah!

    Dragon age = good
    The Witcher = epic

This game will definately on of the best RPG's of 2011. Still hoping to see elder scrolls 5 and mass effect expansion/3 too.

    ROAM FREELY
    ACROSS A MASSIVE FANTASY WORLD

    ...unless there's a fence.
  • Postumo #13 2 years ago

    @darc

If you see the videos, Geralt has learned to jump over fences, so now, he's free! at least in a "Molyneus kind of free world".

I don't need Witcher 2 to be a freeroam world, i just one it like the first one, with more places and less backtracking (the devs tell that's solved).

Freeroam means lack of personality, lack of epic moments, lack of sense... I can't get involved with fallout3, never gets personal, neither does Oblivion. Fable 2 lacked epic, at least Fable 1 had some. I prefer Witcher in a more personal and familiar style, as happens in Mass Effects, where you end loving the characters and getting involved with what happen to them.
