The Secret World - CGI Trailer

I don't know... it's trying too hard to be cool and interesting. The perfectly arranged 'messy' hair nonchalantly hanging in front of her face in exactly the right way bugs me particularly.

It's too cliche. It screams "Guys this is mysterious!" without actually being mysterious. It also doesn't help that the trailer still tells us nothing about the actual game.

Mm, the hair is a bit iffy - if you're out at night, Buffy style patrolling for creatures of the night to shoot, why arrange your hair just so that your vision's impaired?

On the other hand, this is one of the games I'm most intrigued about, so I hope they have some great ideas - and let's not forget it's just a CGI teaser.

Good luck to them - I'll certainly be keeping an eye on it.

Forget the hair. This is a beautifully rendered video but thats all it is. Whats the game going to be like?

I will like Ted be keeping my eye on this and hoping the crow effect is an in game effect.

I saw the link, I think to myself 'yes finally more info!' and then...... oh... another CGI trailer. Whilst it's excellent and sets the mood well it's really just irrelevant since we STILL know nothing about this game. I feel like starting a chant so that Funcom will hear....GAME-PLAY-FOOTAGE....GAME-PLAY-FOOTAGE!

Style, no substance. How much money is being wasted on these CGI videos? Get the game ready, then use whatever is remaining in the budget for fancy schmancy videos that are not indicative of the game play at all.

I hope it plays fun, because I like guns. I want more gunny MMOs. Tabula Rasa failed.

Definitely looking forward to this one. Anything Ragnar's involved with can't be too far off the mark.

Perhaps they're just trying to give you a flavour of the game's mood.

Although CG trailers for MMO's aren't the best way to advertise a game (there's no gameplay/in-game graphics etc.!), I think Funcom are deliberately doing this as somewhat of an affirmation to fans that this will still be a story-rich experience, ripe with atmosphere.
