The Last Remnant - Battle

Published 17 October, 2008 Duration 3:23

This extended battle scene from The Last Remnant is a bit bewildering at first, although we're sure that there's method behind the madness. Also, we like the idea of an 'act wisely' command, something which would serve us well in real life.

wait so I'm controlling squads...er no...groups...er no a party of four...um the four armed dude....no wait I get it. I control everyone I've ever recruited in the game at the same time...

I guess what I'm getting at is the combat seems seriously over complicated for an RPG. Heck it doesn't look like it would be out of place in an RTS.

Don't like it! Looks seriously over-complicated and things keep fading in and out! What's that all about?

Why people are gettting confused i dont know.

If you play final fantasy and other RPG's the battle system is easy.

This battle system has been used in final fantasy before if i remember correctly or one similiar.

This i will buy for sure.

I just want a turbo button where I can spam attack while running back and forth to level up. Getting to the point of one hit kills.
