It's been fifteen years since KoF XII graced the arcades, and Ignition are celebrating by bringing the classic three-on-three fighter to PS3 and 360.

    Looks gorgeous - glad to see that a lot of work has gone into the game seeing as how the previous versions all looked very similar with re-used sprites etc.

    Just hope that the gameplay innovations/changes are up there with the visual make-over.

    OK, so I see the Playstation 3 logo there at the end of the trailer, but not one for the 360.
    Is a 360 version just being assumed in todays cross-platform world? or has it actually been confirmed by SNK and that trailer just didnt include it for whatever reason?

    I like the redrawn sprites, but they need way more frames of animation. I'm hoping it's just a choppy video, because the animation seems worse than it was in the Neo Geo games.

    Yes, a double of the framerate shown in this clip would be excellent. I'm amazed but really glad that someone is still doing 2D in the world that wants just 3D, just because 3>2.

    Totally disagree with the above dude, and the other guy that said this looks like a Snes game because clearly, it does not.

    Anyway...

    This trailer was epic xD

    The animation is divine and will make for lush gameplay. Also good to see the favorites are back and looking better than ever.

    This'd be great if it were 60FPS animation, eh? They should use computers to help them to create 2D @ 60FPS if that's realistic in terms of memory usage.

    I would love to create something of this style in 3D. Sometimes with all the software in the world the best results come from the good ol' pen and paper... and Photoshop and a graphics tablet and Illustrator and...
