I have no idea wtf is going on in this, I'm guessing some kind of rhythm DDR style thing. And the blonde in the second video has a hair spike that could have someone's eye out, be careful.

The only thing that distinguishes this from the source style is the animation. The need to take out interpolation, only animate a keyframe when a body part moves more than 5 cm, and only use slow truck pans/zooms.
But man, I can't get over the fidelity of the style from just the stills. Nice!

Many Japanese become huge fans of characters from Anime, Manga and Games it is not uncommon to have such information highligted for viewing. Many Jap games have it, DOA has the same kind of thing.
