As if being swamped by hordes of stinking undead wasn't enough, SEGA have revealed the extreme mode, a balls-to-the-wall gameplay mode which will have you whimpering with joy.

    House of the Dead has gone right downhill imo. It used to be about accurately pointing the guns at things, then they just kept making the weapons more and more scatter like. First they swap the pistol for a shotgun, the in 3 I believe it is a machine gun. Its just about hosing these days with some decent reactions required, with only boss fights requiring actual aiming skills.

    Not a patch on Virtua Cop 1 and 2. Ahh, the nostalgia of (late) youth.

    Kanga - I'm sure the default weapon in HotD3 was a shotgun. Did you get a machine gun later in the game, or something?
