    Definitely grittier. When is this story set? Never played the original.

    Its set between ep 3 and before ep 4 (about a year before a New Hope). A few Jedi still about in hiding so its during the killing off of them as thats why this Apprentice was created it seems. The original Apprentice from the first game dies at the end and the rebellion use his family crest as their symbol.

    The only game that made me feel the closest possible to the original trilogy
    was the THE FORCE UNLEASHED. Now the second installment seems to
    surpass the first one. Great graphics and great story and cinematics are
    making this game look fantastic.

    I hope they just enhance even more the AI and the exploration feeling so the
    game isn'yt so linear.
    And it would be nice if they could incorporate random AI procedures. So
    every time you play a level, after a death for example, the opponents allter their
    formations and randomize the order in which they appear.

    Randomization ! a significant parameter very underestimated but would add very
    much to the gameplay and the replayability of the levels. I hope someone there
    in the game industry takes it into serious consideration.
