At least there was a mention of MP this time :-)

Was there an Irish twang to his accent?

Great show as always.

I've just noticed that Faith has an Alex eyelash from "A Clockwork Orange".

Agh, they didn't show any footage! :( Mirror's Edge!

Battlefield Heroes looked really enjoyable, and the developer mentioned that they felt that they didn't have a strong character to represent Bad Company, but that custom tagged grenade does a great job, I think! :D
(imagine one of those landing by your feet... "you cheeky bas*boom* lol)

Great show, EG. :)

Did anyone else only watch to see footage of Mirrors Edge?

Sorry, but zomming and panning over 6 month old screenies doesn't excite me. Give us footage DICE - prove it looks that good in motion.

Nice work sneakily zooming in on the weapons list on the wall, assuming that wasn't a put up job too, or April fools.

Oh and yes, I was most interested in Mirror's Edge. You dissappoint, Minkley.

I just knew they were working on BF3 for PC! Great news, I am happy now. I figured as they were pretty far along in the development process for Bad Company and Heroes.

The lack of any Mirror's Edge information is a bit disappointing, sure its nice to see a concept drawing of the lead character and hear someone talk about it for 20 seconds but still, a bit more would have been nice.
I'm definitely curious about Battlefield Heroes, I was a huge BF1942 fan (back in the day when my PC was good enough to run the top games) so a free to play game in that ilk looks great.

As for Bad Company, with damage its great for it to be implemented but I'm always just a bit miffed that its just 'gamer' damage, say shooting a hole in something, knocking some concrete off a wall, smashing a window, I'd love for it to get to the stage where you could say, C4 the structural support of a building and collapse it. One day perhaps.

DICE started out as a demo group called The Silents then renamed themselves to Digital Illusions when they started making Pinball games on Amiga.
