It's the great gaming battle of the bands. As Guitar Hero World Tour and Rock Band 2 prepare to square off on stage this autumn, Harmonix and Neversoft try to persuade you why their game is the real rock star. As well as having a good bitch about each other.

Well that's not very bloody encouraging.

"We can endlessly expand..." means nothing, because you aren't going to, because it would break your game.
For me a lot of it comes down to the quality of the peripherals. I care far less about expandability than I do about how the basic set actually plays. The RockBand peripherals are bloody awful, and they need to address that before anything else matters. I kind of feel that they will though, and that makes GH:WT look less impressive by comparison.

i think you misunderstood what he was saying.
The neversoft guy was saying if you can't afford the GH kit then you can use your RB1 kit with GH world tour, and when your rock band kit breaks then you can buy the GH kit - a sly dig at the shoddy RB peripherals.

That was the GH guy talking about the RockBand stuff!
That was expertly edited EG, to make them look like complete morons. The level of sniping and bitching was off the scale, and really unbelievably childish. Prefered the GH chap for what it's worth though.
Hate both games, so I'm not sure why I bothered watching this

I haven't bought Rock Band yet either. I was going to, but then thought they were taking the utter piss with the UK pricing.
I'll buy one of them this time round, but not unless the pricing isn't lightyears away from the US cost.
