The Eurogamer TV Show: Special - Rainbow Six vs. Eurogamers

Published 3 March, 2008 Duration 9:19

Eurogamer stalwarts Inquisitor and TheRealBadabing take on the Warfighters at their own game in the 'Killhouse', an area designed to emulate the experience of Rainbow Six: Vegas 2, with extra pain.

No idea what these Warfighters guys are about. Sound like a nice band of psychopaths anyway. The Eurogamer team did well, I'm sure, what with the huge virtual experience and slick super-trained military moves.
Besides, imagine confronting the Warfighters inside a video game: now wouldn't that be a bloodbath? Maybe they'd get shot so bad they'd actually be physically hurt. Ah, sweet virtual revenge...

That looks like a lot of fun!

I lol'd when someone kicked the flashbang toward Johnny (I think), heheh..

Hmmmm, very good. A shame you couldn't fit that scene in though, yea, you know the one I mean.

Though it was in incredibly bad taste it was also incredibly funny, ah well.

I prefer watching this kind of stuff to actual game trailers.

    It is more fun too.

WarFighters is never going to appeal to all video gamers.
But its a nice alternative for those who wanna try some live-action related combat.

Hat's off to TheRealBadabing & Inquisitor for going through hell. Real Metal displayed there lads.
Hoped you enjoyed your day at the Rainbow Six launch and that we will see you back soon.

Ooh, Johnny looks quite rugged. I bet he was trying to man up for the WarFighters. Good job Inquisitor and TheRealBadabing!

That WarFighters guy is absolutely bonkers! Briliant!

WarFighters would surely appeal to me, though I live too far away.

What a load of old rubbish.
  • felastica #11 4 years ago

Nice piece of promotional fluff. I know a lot more about Warfighters, not a lot more about the game.

The WarFighters use (RAP4).43 cal solid/marking rounds, not the tiny 6mm airsoft bb's which still bloody sting up close. The .43's hurt a lot up close and also cut. Johnny was right to cry mummy on this one.

It was a great bit of fun. I've offered an entire full day doing Ghost Recon to Eurogamer for it's community. You will get to play alongside us and have a free BBQ at the end with hopefully a live fire tank demo. Keep an eye on future updates from EGTV

I think that Ubisoft have been pretty cool funding these types of events, better than the norm.

The only thing that surprises me here is that TheRealBadabing can actually fit through those doors.

    Lardarse.
  • Inquisitor #15 4 years ago

I certainly remember Minkley saying something about a BBQ.

I expect he agreed to the event only because moments before you showed off your massive tank collection

    /Drops EG in the shit
