If this game delivers.... if it offers all its promised and the tools available go deep enough it will evolve into something quite special. LBP is without a doubt one of the most important console releases in recent memory and any and all who dismiss it as.. '' looks shit..'' are to be pitied.

Can't wait to see what people come up with. I expect bucketloads of nice levels and quality machinima on youtube. Btw, anyone knows if LBP will use the youtube integration Sony introduced (or isn't it live yet?)? LBP seems like the perfect title for it.

I don't think YouTube integration is in LBP yet - though I agree its a game which would benefit. It is available in PixelJunk Eden though so is "Live" already.

I've been playing the beta for a week now and in truth, even in this cut down and slightly buggy state this game has been a total joy.

I can't really understand the people who feel they have to bitch about it, but then I don't care as it's truly their loss.

I played the Beta right up until the last hour it was live... it's painful waiting to actually buy the game and I've reserved it in 2 different places just to get the different downloadable content. I CAN RECOMMEND THIS GAME HIGHLY ENOUGH!

It's always nice when a game developer comes accross as grounded and genuinely keen about their creation. Publishers take note, over excited PR people shouting about games they haven't even played is not a good way to sell copies.
