Frankie's accent seemed to be all over the place too, was weird listening to his Scottish creep in and out.

Lol at timeshift. Too bad the demo was shit.

What exactly is the point in the big button controller... is it for a special game or is it as pointless as the Wii wheel?? but it DOES have a big button...

I have to say i like the way Microsoft does interviews, nice an relaxed an they answer the questions quite well. Love the little dig at Nintendo's 'man' about the bmi thing.

And get over the xbox colour, its a nice green! Its better then a bit pink and orange console.

Halo, PGR4, Little Big World and Mario look awesome!! me wants *gargle at Mario as a bee lol*

    Nice episode tho :D

Good effort all round, methinks. And that Minkley is a sly old dog. "Any one for a skinny dip?"
  • Yossarian #7 5 years ago

That TimeShift guy is something else.

if only mass effect was Knights of The Old Republic 3. the whole setting has star wars knock off written all over it. shame really.
  • Kilters #12 5 years ago

They got Strutter to intro Timeshift. What a coup.

can i just say you need to sort your audio out. in particular the sound quality of minkley's over dub, it sounded like it was recorded with a shoe. get a decent mic boys! the levels were all over the place as usual too, you should compress the dynamics otherwise you get extremely loud bits like the screaming at the end of rock band, and really quiet bits like some of the voiceovers. dynamics compression just makes it all the more listenable :)

otherwise it was a good show!

by the way did anyone else spot the scottishness coming through in that guy's accent? it was weird to listen to (being a scot myself). why on earth would you want to lose your accent for a generic american one?

oh yeah and i loved when that timeshift wank tried to take the piss out of great games such as FEAR, prince of persia and max payne. hilarious! talk about punching above your weight! i saw some gameplay footage of timeshift and it looks decidedly average, with bad AI, boring environments and several obvious glitches.

    seriously though, talk about cocky

    Value Proposition?

Is that marketing speak for "rip off"?
  • barnettbeans #16 5 years ago

I think this is as witty and a genre altering show as Games Master in the 90's or Bits on channel 4 in early 00's. Keep the shows coming.
There is one thing thats bugging me! Its september almost 6 weeks since E3 why does it take Eurogamer so long to edit a show. Shouldn't we be watching Franks hillarious shorts appering at the Leipzeng games convention? Rant over Keep up the good work. 9/10

Jesus Christ I'm getting pretty tired of this crappy flash player of yours eurogamer! It just stops streaming at random points, and then I to start ALL OVER AGAIN since you can't fast forward to a point that isn't streamed yet. It's only your player that I'm having problems with and I really wanna watch the show but I can't because for some stupid reason the whole internet thinks that flash is the way to go when it comes to streaming videos.... IT'S NOT, it sucks and it always will, at least until sites like e.g. eurogamer.net get their asses together and made a player that works like the one on video.google.com now that's a flash player that actually WORKS!

Nice to see the Games of the Show being different choices especially Killzone 2.

I really, really enjoyed the two E3 episodes even if there are a month or so late. The quotes and name banners with a further message below the names was great.

    Very good.

Yeh, good episode that, better than repeat episodes of Friends even.

Top work. I love the more personal and ground-level coverage of events like this. Keep it up!

recon : the reason googles video site lets you fast forward to any part of the clip is to do with the servers delivery. It is a media server that allows that (expensive if your not google) wheras an ordinary web server only allows a progressive download like eg's, its nothing to do with the flash video player itself, just wanted to add :)
edit : it seems after watching this vid they have a streaming media server, the chapter selection prooved that, ah well guess your conection must be quite bad , you could try updating your flash player, the latest version is called showtime and has a lot of improvements to video streaming
