    Obviously a PR-trained Japanese guy wouldn't say anything other then nice things about his colleges. Not that I would, either, and I'm neither PR-trained nor Japanese!

    Hmm. It seems that Yuji's answer is really very easy, because it's not really his concern any more! Plus, he would be unlikely to have said anything bad about the work of his former colleagues.

    SEGA, as developers have got to deliver on what they say, and show. Then things will improve and become smoother for them.

    Having just watched the new Sonic story book series game trailer, it was a good trailer but the gameplay seemed to be Unleashed minus were-hog, but plus a Wii remote gimmick. There appears no way at that speed, of which Sonic's traveling that you could accurately slash with the Wii Remote to skillfully hit the enemies.

    Which prompts me to wonder whether the trailer is deliberately keeping the focus from a cop-out - lovely though the trailer is :)
    For that reason, I'll optimistically wait for the review for Sonic & the Black Knight.
    It was good of Mr. Naka to take the time out for the chat.

    With all due respect to EG, I still cannot understand why it is commonly believed that Sonic and the Secret Rings was the "last genuinely good Sonic game".

    It was and still is a poor sometimes broken game and, IMO, in hindsight is only a small step away from Sonic Unleashed's Sonic stages.

    Still, good show Minkley! Have some cake.

    I thought Sonic and the Secret Rings was rubbish. I am glad to see the next one isn't on rails. Hopefully I will get along better with the new one.

    I used to enjoy eurogamer tv, now the recent shows are just...i dunno, they just aren't as entertaining as they used to be.

    Its probably just me.

    The Nintendo Wii is the worst thing that has EVER happened to gaming. This absolutely churns my inside and makes me sick. What kind of a joke are games becoming?

    Oh dear God, why would anybody spend money on that monstrosity of a gamecube?

    Whereas Mario is defined by consistently high quality games that have evolved from humble beginnings, the Sonic series has forsaken its past for fads and gimmicks, disregarding the solid foundation of yesteryear's titles. It's a sad situation, because the people who make these games are completely unable to realise what made them popular in the first place.

    Sonic with a sword, becoming a werehog or talking to humans on Earth - who came up with this crap?

    I enjoyed the Sonic on Sega, but I don't like the Wii in general. The motion controllers don't always do what I'm telling it to. I think they should make it a choice to use the motion, or just regular controllers. I would play it a lot more. If the Wii was a person, it would be looking for a job right now, and be lucky to get one even in plumbing. The Wii is absolute junk, and should be re-invented.
