Destruction looks great, hope they manage to build a game around it.

The Mars architects could use some better building skills TBH. Stuff seems to be made like a house of cards :)

The buildings just seem to fall apart rather than blow up/come down realistically. Some impressive tech but it looks weird.

I think they need to add some dust. While the objects splintering and crumbling is all very impressive tech, it's all too clean to look realistic. Watch any real building collapse or demolition and within a second or two there's usually a big cloud of dust obscuring everything.

Lol hatred already.

It's a game not a building demolition simulator.

Yeah. But in every article or interview they always bang on about GeoMod. It's a major aspect of the game and is as open to critisism as any other aspect. No hatred here. Quite looking forward to it :P

I cannot bloody wait for this. I've been longing to blow stuff up like this since I first saw a physics engine. Thank christ someone has finally done it...hopefully.

This will probably work graet on CUDA/PhysX-equipped PC's, but I have doubts about the console versions. I am very intrigued by this, it looks cool, but I will actually wait for the Eurogamer showdown for once. Hope they'll do one of those specials.

Oh and... isn't this rather politically unforrect? I cant help but replace "EDF" with "U.S. Army" and the native guerilla with Al Queida. I mean - science fiction has always been about reflecting current events and trends, and this game seems to up-end the current view on terrorism, insurgency and illegal combatants.

you don't need to link the guerilla to al-qaida. there are a hundred other groups all over the world fighting against US-backed tyranny.
