The demo was alright. Probably picking this up one way or the other

looks great, not sure it'll be quiite as good as the 1st tho

The demo was fantastic. Even though I had to stutter through it on my low end laptop, it was still very impressive. Genuinely terrifying in some parts and there was a powerfully creepy atmosphere too. I'll be picking this up on PS3 or 360 whenever I get one, that's for sure :)

it looks like they are pplaying with a gamepad controller in these shots...where is the PC smooth mouse movement

Only by idiots who don't care about great AI and level design. I've reinstalled it just the other week, and it blows the FEAR 2 demo out of the water.

With onyxbox on the generic and boring nature of the F2 demo, but horses for courses.

Lack of lean in fear 2 is upsetting.

I'm with UncleLou on this one, I threw the F.E.A.R into my 360 the other day and the game-play holds up. One thing I noticed about the original game was that it was scary because the AI would hand you your ass if you weren't on top FPS form... not because Alma popped up now and again.

I've reinstalled it just the other week, and it blows the FEAR 2 demo out of the water.

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks that. I was so disappointed :(

It's going to be one hell of a sequel.. Thats for sure.

I'm just finishing the first one until this one arrives, It's gonna be great.

I didn't really like the demo but I may still give this a rent in a couple of months.

there something wrong with the sequel.i dont know exactly what,but i think fear one is way better.lets wait and see the verdict.

Weird, I re-installed F.E.A.R. 6 months ago, played it on hard (same as first time round) and got bored. Oh well. Different strokes and all that.

@Zaamk : yep, I noticed that and although a subtle difference, it does alter the feeling quite a bit. No choice but to expose yourself before being able to shoot at something. Maybe it's a deliberate choice to make the action more dynamic.
