Enjoyed DiRT first time around, but only because the solo rallying was great. This jumping circuit bollocks, it just ain't right.

Given the way this franchise is going, it probably has power ups and 50 Cent as well.

If only I could get rid of 2 negatives!! you're right, the rally that codemasters refer to can't bear any resemblance to the real McCoy. Pastrana, Mirra and Hawk have sweet FA to do with Rally, and there's no point showing pictures of the late, great McRae, he joined this circus because he couldn't hack the real discipline anymore.
I'm afraid I'm rather particular about games involving cars...I only rented Grid because I really couldn't bear the vacuous "drifitng" sections which are the antithesis of what driving a car is about, and as far as I can tell is only big in Japan...but i suppose that's the market they were trying to corner at the time...
Next time, send out the X Games features as a standalone title, that'll appeal to the market you're after far more than using Rally as some kind of Trojan Horse. You've lost a purchase here, but then there will be millions of americans to take my place so no harm, no foul.
Cowabunga dudes! Or is that surfing? surfing, X Games, meh.

This whole X Games thing really seems like those old Budweiser adverts where bud took over soccer.
