I Played the beta on Xbox 2 days before the end, and it was shocking. The servers were intermittently dropping us from our party. There was screen tear all over the place, I kept falling through the map, and the framerate was noticeably poorer. This is to be expected though, as the Xbox is getting old, and my PC is cutting edge in comparison. I'm glad there's finally a game that takes full advantage of both systems.
My biggest criticism is that EA/Dice cannot make a user friendly menu for shit! The Xbox menu was clunky, confusing and ugly. Why can't these game developers get the easy and smooth Halo/CoD party system right?

Sure the beta had some problems... The odd disconnect, falling through the floor, rocks that let too many bullets through, but man was it already impressive.
Great sound effects, with sounds of distant firefights echoing through the level. A lot of stuff that can be destroyed, grand smoke effects, nudging from corner to corner with your squad and more classic BF gameplay that never gets old. Not too mention the graphics in general: unbelievable.
I was enjoying Operation Metro, but then Caspian Border was opened during the last weekend of the beta and I was fully convinced we're getting a real treat.
I still hope we're gonna receive some 64 vs 64 warfare later on though!

The LAV was taken out of the beta for Metr. No reason why they might not put it back in for retail
