Umm, I think that might be missing a core point of the game. Its setting is alternate reality; same as Thief, Star Trek, Terminator and Super Mario.

Balancing a game where A.I.'s and other online players are (apparently) interchangeable will be a bit odd. Pure online multiplayer must have an average kill to death ratio of 1 while single player games, even the dead hard ones, allow you to kill off more than one A.I. before getting killed yourself.
