Will it still require stupid friend codes, or will it have a proper open online matchmaking service ?

There is a distinct lack of any "turning round a corner whilst shooting" in all these Conduit vids. Lots of strafing and shooting stuff whilst not turning though ... hmmmm.

Pfffh! Turning corners is for losers! ;)

That's the thing about the Wii controls for FPSs though, circle strafing etc. is tricky to pull off because of the whole "dead zone" in the middle for aiming without turning and having to move the cursor to the edge of the screen to turn. Mind you the sensitivities can be altered a lot so no doubt you can get something like a circle strafe going (you could in Metroid at least).

Looking forward to this but I doubt I'll be playing MP on it though.

I thought Godfather wii (for all it's faults) handled the "turning around" problem well (you held down left/right on the dpad).

Framerate looks a bit weak TBH.

AFAIK most Wii and DS games don't need a friend code for random match making. It's if you want to add people to a friend list.

Looks good. Not mind-blowing, but online FPSs on Wii are few and far between, so I'll take it :)

Hope its good. Be interesting if the wii gets an awesome fps online.
