Even the rabid fanboys over at NintendoLife rated this 5/10 so in any reasonable scale that's -2700/10.

BTW: was that Duke Nukem moonlighting in there?

    yeah, same VA.

This was never going to a great game, HVS is the type of studio this generation largely ended. small studios attempting to makle games with high production values, and i've got to commend their efforts in that regard, but HVS are not a great studio, they just don't have the talent in terms of art direction, sound design, level design, character design or gameplay mechanics. Maybe given time they'll get there, but to survive in the meantime they're going to have to find their niche, because the conduit 2 isn't gonna sell in todays fps market. They're lucky Sega gave them a two game contract, otherwise they wouldn't even have got this game greenlit.

Well that certainly looks boring. I almost feel bad for HVS because they always sounded like very passionate guys when it comes to their work and I have to give them credit for sticking with the Wii. I'm not necessarily a big FPS fan though; I especially hate it when everything has to be first person, like the opening cutscene when the guy throws the wrench at the player. I find nothing quite as unnatural as first person cutscenes when "I" start to look around aimlessly. Those are simply distracing and the exact opposite of immersive.
