"Power is nothing without control"... did they actually play the first game? It wasn't the best handling game I've ever played

They could've had "Open-world racing is nothing with over-zealous police"

Not to mention traffic that suicidally swerves in front of insanely fast sports cars. Not that any of this stopped me playing it lots...

I wonder how long that decision took them - to make a new physics engine, or use the old one? Hopefully about 10 seconds. I'd be surprised if it wasn't a joke question that someone asked at the design meeting, and they all burst into tears of laughter.

Part of me wants this game to be abysmal, so that I don't have to spend money on buying it, which I will be forced to do, if it turns out to be good.

What David Nadal says seems true though - when you are developing handling, you are too close to judge it. Props to them for developing it in tandem with user feedback.

Even though the first was flawed it hardly left my disc drive for months on end and I cant this being any different. Didnt like the bikes from the first though, so they wont be missed by me...

It's post-launch DLC so I guess you'll have the option to leave it if you like. I thought the sense of speed in the helmet cam was pretty awesome.
