Surely the cover mechanic won't make much sense when the enemy are going to just stand there and shoot back (like a terminator would).

I'm sure Terminators should be a little more indestructable as well. Although i guess they can't all be enticed through industrial metal crushing equipment.

Looks similar to Gears of War in a strange way.

That actually looks pretty good. I like the animation.

No matter how the game actually plays, I just don't think I can force myself to like it based on how fond I am of the first two films.

So sad Termiantors are coming in this by the kilogram. I mean, it was taking 2 long hours to kill just one of them, and that's what made Terminators epic, life and death struggle, on the edge for a very long time. What's this, now? Meh.

Yeah I agree, does look like Gears, I think its the cover mechanic that does it.

Looks like gears but that's no bad thing, unless you are playing Resident Evil...

Anyway I like it, really looking forward to the movie to after seeing the awesome trailer. It's sad we will not see more "traditional" Terminator movies but Arnie is too old and it is high time we saw a movie actually about Judgment day (I thought Rise of The Machines was gonna do that from the title, instead it just pissed on the first two).

Is it me or was that pretty much all one-shot kills and a few grenades with instant kills?

Anyone who claims what made terminator special was the fact that it took "2 hours to kill one of them" is wrong. The reason why it took 2 hours to kill one is because the first was in essence "just a chase film". The 2nd is quite the blockbuster.

What made both 1 & 2 special is the fact that the world we currently reside in is being threatened by an apocolyptic future (that terminator does so, so well), of which the outcome is being fought in a small war between 2 or 3 against 1 machine, unknown to the rest of the world.

I mean, for one thing, in the first 10 mins of the first film, they killed loads of terminators in the future scene.
