Okay I'm tired of guessing is Leo a Boy or a Girl?
  • Darkedge #2 5 years ago

    a girl - I think....
Tekken has lost it, I'm sorry that looked quite poor.

I never was a fan of Tekken.

Doesn't it look like DoA 3 on Xbox graphically?
  • JediMasterMalik #4 5 years ago

Looks okay, hopefully will improve over time.

I'll still buy it. Leo is a boy, but so totally girly looking it's sad. Redesign I think.

I think your mistaking that for DOA4...

Technically fighting games should showcase the graphical powerhouse of the console with only having 2 characters on screen etc, like it did during PS2/Xbox, so far the fighting games have been Disappointing in that regard. :/

These are low res so they might lose bits of detail (heck the even the screens Namco released on their site are PSP firendly) but at least it looks way better than the Tekken 6 I saw at E3.

Is Leo the first obviously gay fighting game character?
    Oh, sorry, forgot Voldo.

    You also forgot Lee.

His ending had Heihachi in a thong, or sumo pants and a bow tie whatever it was it made me vomit.

    collision detection seems a bit....liberal
  • jozz #9 5 years ago

Those two characters looked incredibly bland. How about just bunging in a pirate and a ninja instead.

I want a Bloody Roar sequel :/ I liked the GC one.

To me it looks like it's running on a very slightly tweaked Tekken 5 engine. Nice "impact ripple" effects though.

Oh. How amazingly average. Tekken died after the third installment for me. May it RIP.
  • Razz #13 5 years ago

Wow. I thought I was looking at a PS2 version. It doesn't seem to have improved much graphically at all.
  • Steroyd #14 5 years ago

The words "low res" comes to mind.

And to think someone mistaked the "steaming character" precalculated teaser shown at E3 for actual in-game graphics... how naive, guys...

Doesn't look up to standard for next gen does it? Shoddy-looking collision-detection, relitively poor graphics and arenas that look about as big as my garden shed. Maybe putting the game back a while to do an overhaul might not be too bad an idea.

It'd be a shame for the series to take another dip after the critical sucess of Tekken 5.

Graphics schmaphics - for fighters to be next gen there is only one way to go - PHYSX

get with the f(/&ing program people!

(remark directed solely to the developers)

yep - the next big thing in fighting will be simply be the next one to implement ragdoll.

none of this "punch peoples feet while they are in the air to make them stay in the air a little longer".

real connections whee a fist impacts and pushes back the surfaces it pounds.

whoever does it first (and well) is minted. end of story.

    "end of story"?
go for it 'deep menace', show us all how its done.
yet more halfwitted nobodies judging an entire multi-million pound project by one early trailer and unhealthy amounts of showy cynicism. boring whingers
