Another exclusive gameplay video from the online TF2 beta. This time round we step into the shoes of the bazooka-wielding, rocket jumping, cackling maniac of a soldier.

    No rocket Jumping!? :)

    You really should have included the taunt for the melee spade weapon, it's the best in the game!

    Do each class use the same weapon every single time?

    I love the look and feel of it but the weapon selection seems limited to one.

    Each class has three weapons.

    Yeah, would have been nice to see some other functions of the soldier other than rocket spam. I'm guessing each class has a primary, secondary and melee weapon, or instead of weapons, special abilities. You can't pick up another class' weapon, instead just choose a different class the next time you respawn.

    So far I love the engineer and scout :D

    The soldier has the funniest emotes in the game.

    Soldier looks like a fairly boring class, but I think that's more to do with not being able to see the other weapons.

    He has a shotgun for a secondary weapon (many classes have one) and a spade for melee attacks.

    He is also able to make gigantic rocket jumps (not shown here).

    Also - grenades were removed from TF2 - and will never come back. That is - except for the Demoman.

    And no class is boring in TF2 since the game is quite fast-paced.

    I used to be in a TFC clan, way way back.

    Watch out! Making comparisons between TFC or any other TF version is very risky since TF2 is almost nothing like the previous incarnations of the game which is a good thing, at least for me, since I didn't like them but absolutely LOVE TF2. =)
