Team Fortress 2 - Heavy Weapons Guy

Published 15 May, 2007 Duration 1:29

The tough-talking tank of the increasingly fabulous-looking Team Fortress 2 is the Heavy Weapons Guy. Tooled up with a huge mini-gun and the physical tenacity to stand in the front line and literally take one for the team, he's not a guy to annoy.

That really made me laugh, it rocks!

Did anyone else think that the facial expressions are starting to become more and more refined now? I thought it looked very cool.

This has to be the first time someone has remade something that is close to my heart in a way that is this completely awesome. I heart Valve.

I really really really hope that the facial stuff happens during multiplayer. It'll be so nice to finally have multiplayer characters without a blank stare/helmet to hide blank stare.

Probably won't notice it when I'm rocket jumping around. Doesn't have much affect on gameplay. Pretty much just extra eye candy.

But still. I'll be happy it's there.

At one point I was thinking of doing some text to speach for a quake 3 mod, and made different textures to overlay on the mouth of the avatar - one for each phoneme. Kinda ambitious for me at the time, though.

Did anyone else break into a grin at the facial expressions at the end?

I just did exactly that, yes.
