also, if you've got a war going on for a thousand years, surely a billion people dying isn't really all that... hell about 6 billion people will die on earth in the next hundred just from natural causes...

(sorry for being pedantic, but on that sort of scale, what does 'lives lost' really mean?)

That was.. the game should be ace, so I don't mind, but that was Stargate, then the start of Serenity, then the start of the new Battlestar Galactica, then it went a bit.. Star Wars, E.T, and the green guys from PlanetSide. And then Transformers.

All inside the TA intro.

Amazing.

Well I don't know if making mankind the evil ones is so original - even Disney does that for christs sake!

yeah the writing seems like crap - I wonder if the gaming publishers has three or four writers locked away in a pit, forced to write stories 24/7 - that would explain it I suppose

However, the game seems brilliant, When we�re talking "TA 2" I don't give a shit about the story, I want TOTAL WAR - and that seems to be fullfilled
