Super Paper Mario - Trailer

There's nothing quite like the innocent charm of a Mario game - the Paper Mario series boils that charm down into concentrated serum and injects it directly into your brain. This story trailer for the forthcoming Wii version should prep you for the shot.

    Dark hearts, "worlds" in danger. Super Mario in paper kingdom hearts?

    The music is great. But I'm not understanding the plot.....something about Bowser......Princess Peach and........kidnap.....hmmm. That reminds me of some other game......!

    Anyway I like the way you use the remote to transport Mario in between the rooms. I also heard that not all of it is side scrolling, there are portals that take you into a 3D world, although that idea might of been axed, I can't remember.

    I've never played any of the Paper mario games but if they're anything like the Mario & Luigi games on GBA/DS than I might have to start saving up for a Wii.

    Offhand; New Evil Bad Guy forces Princess & Bowser to marry each other, bringing about the end of the world. Mario travels back in time (?) to stop them etc.

    And, yeah, it still has the 2D/3D flippage thing; you press a button to 'flip' 90 degrees, allowing you to walk behind paper-thin Thwomps, onto the background scenery, etc. By all accounts it's shaping up to be rather ace.
