I really wish they'd just done a straight sequel to Paper Mario 2. This looks kind of pish so far.

I thought that looked great! I've never played Paper Mario 2 tho and judging by your comments it's nothing like this.

Looks nice. I really enjoyed the 2d sequences in Paper Mario and ever since Nintendo hinted that with Wii's virtual console older titles may come with updated graphics I hoped that a classic mario jump'n'run will be released with Paper Mario's graphics. And here it is. I am definetly buying it.

Looking good! Especially when you consider that the backgrounds are 2D, but then you can play about them in 3D. Look at the screenshots that Nintendo released, for that to make sense!
