because the names for Vega, Balrog and Bison were switched around for the Western releases of SF games. Balrog is known as M.Bison is Japan but supposedly the name and appearance was too similar to that of Mike Tyson so Capcom altered it to avoid possible legal issues. They simply shifted the names around a bit.
Anyway, this is looking epic. So gutted I haven't got a PS3/360.
