Impressive as it that this trailer is rendered entirely by the in-game engine, we're a little concerned by the genericness of the units so far. Men in helmets vs aliens in different helmets is no longer setting our world alight.

It does look horribly formulaic and generic.... but I guess they don't consider the historical stylings of the Total War series as being appealing enought for consoles.

Dear me, that does have cliche overload. A bit like Halo crossed with Area 51.

Seems to be quite a few console RTSs inbound; I wonder which will be the best.

animation on the models looks very good, apart from when all the blokes are running at the same time
