The original Starcraft generated the sort of rabid devotees usually only seen around cult leaders: Korean TV still broadcasts multiplayer games eight years after its release. It's hard to see how this sequel can be anything but huge.

um looks fantastic. Not a fan of RTS, but liked the original. Glad to see it appear again after all these years

I'm so chuffed that they haven't tried to re-invent with 3D for the sake of it - it's the same basic view on the battlefield, the same multi-tiered environments, but in glorious 3D rendering with the core heart and soul fully intact.
The Inverse Kinematics used for some of the bi/tri/multi-pedal units was fantastic, and a really great use of the tech. Some of the new units are very imaginative and, once balanced, it looks like there are going to be lots of different levels of tactics in use.
I wasn't going to let myself get carried away, but I really am stupidly excited about this game.

It is etiquette and not to follow it would be dreadfully rude.

Even if the game is just a rubbish ffa, in quake, if someone doesn't say 'gg' i take it as being a bit rude.
